<title>Twin Bed</title>
<description>What kinds of toddler and twin bed prices are parents willing to pay? We have a custom kids bed-making business, and this year is difficult on sales. I&#039;m trying to get our prices low enough to be affordable for the average middle class family but high enough to still earn a living.

My question is to parents: What prices would you think are reasonable for a toddler or twin wooden bed that is custom-made how you like it? Is there a threshold which you would not exceed for a toddler bed shaped like an airplane or car, or a twin?

Thanks. Some input from people going through the economic downturn will really help.

<title>Solid Pine Bed</title>
<description>Is solid pine stronger than particle board when it comes to a bed frame? I am buying a new bed, and found a nicely-priced solid pine unfinished bed as well as a bed made of particle board and wood veneer and I&#039;m wondering which, if either, will have stronger characteristics than the other. I&#039;m only asking because I know pine is a &quot;soft wood&quot; and am unsure of its strength (especially for a queen sized bed and my size -- I&#039;m 6&#039;3&quot; and weigh 280 lbs). Also, if i shouldn&#039;t even be looking at these beds and should be looking at other materials, let me know. Thanks!

<title>Single Bed</title>
<description>I need a bed for a small room, looking for a single bed that can width can be extended? However it must not be like another single underneath as this will not fit. A sofa bed is also not an option as it will be used permanently. It will stay as a single bed 99% of the time, except when my mate brings a girl back!! He just wants a slight extention to the width to make it just that tad more comfortable!! Any ideas or products?
It has to be in the design of a proper single bed as my mate will be staying there permanently.

<title>Queen Bed</title>
<description>How much should a used queen bed sell for? My friend is moving and needs to sell her bed, but doesn&#039;t know how to price it:

Keystone queen size Sleep System by Denver Mattress Company
The bed is 4-5 years old and sells new for $500. It&#039;s in good condition, but the springs at the end of the mattress are a little worn.

Any help from craigslist/e-bay pros would be much appreciated!

Thanks. :)

<title>Platform Bed</title>
<description>platform bed??? I love the look of a platform bed and i am considering purchasing one in the next few weeks. But I am worried that this bed will end up making me hate it.

My bed already is just a box spring and a mattress on the floor and to be honest I LOVE IT ( box spring broke about a year ago so I had to ditch the plain frame), but I am scared like the mattress will slide on the platform. I am a wild sleeper and I know you dont want to hear this but you know what else goes on in a bed...I do not want the mattress and us to end up on the floor.

So does anyone have any experience with one?

<title>Pine Bed Frame</title>
<description>What type of paint do I use to paint my bed frame? I have a pine bed frame from Ikea that was sold with a clear coat finish (varnish?) already applied. Is there any type of paint that can be applied directly over this, or must the frame be sanded first? I want to paint the frame white.
